hola mis amigos! my family made it in safely last evening, and we spent the night walking the streets near our hotel, giggling, catching up on four month's worth of gossip and juicy story-swapping, foot rubs and back rubs, and gorging ourselves on sweet bread, caramel + cheddar popcorn, poptarts, cheez-its, and chex mix - all of my favorite snacks from home! we're off today to explore the centro, the central house, the mall, mega, and all of my frequently-visited local joints.
i'm so excited and feel so blessed to be able to introduce my best friends to the city that will forever be my home away from home.
